I Am A Memory

I am not a play toy

I am a memory
For you to live
For you to love
Keep with you
To hold again

I am not a game
To win, to lose
To share only news
Getting older
Never to forget

The best of friends
We had together
The best of time
The best of us

I am not a play toy

I am a memory
For you to live
For you to love
Keep with you
To hold again

I am not a play toy
A song to overlook
A sign to set down
A peace to end

I am not a play toy

I am a memory
For you to live
For you to love
Keep with you
To hold again

......................

Where I Was Waiting On You

Where I was waiting on you
Waiting on you here now
Near the days as true
As I can bring to life

Thinking to bring you true
Back around through
Into when I believed in you
Over the loss, made a win

Found a love my own
Within my alone

Where I was waiting on you
Waiting on you here now
Near the days as true
As I can bring to life

Wondering what we speak
What we don't, why
Why we grow as we do

Where I was waiting on you
Waiting on you here now
Near the day as true
As I can bring to life

.......................................

Who I Am Inside

Praying for you never ends
Wanting for you the best
Loving you as a precious gift
Holding life for you in any way
Hoping for always to know you
Growing in your way as my own
May not be right, only all I know

From one heart to another
From one pleasure to another
From one memory to another

Who I am inside

Passing time to see you as always
Watching for your happy moments
Looking to see your smile
Calling for any warmth you may own
Pleasant peace of mind I have
Carrying what can I find so small
From me for the large neer comes
I fall to sleep wondering

From one heart to another
From one pleasure to another
From one memory to another

Who I am inside

Who I am inside

Praying for you never ends
Wanting for you the best
Loving you as a precious gift
Holding life for you in any way
Hoping for always to know you
Growing in your way as my own
May not be right, only all I know

Who I am inside

........................

When You Were Real

My few moments free
I use to see yesterday
My favorite life
My time of love young

When you were real
When I was right for you
When you were true
When I was right for you

Grown through these days
Never once in pain
Never once missing you
Never once forgetting you

The pleasure to write
Of my most favored nights
In one way or another
Came to me with light

When you were real
When I was right for you
When you were true
When I was right for you

At times can be hard
Emotions on high
Alone as an owner of me

At times can be lost
I pull through
With whatever I can find
I remember once as mine

When you were real
When I was right for you
When you were true
When I was right for you

When you were real
When I was right for you
When you were true
When I was right for you

How Life Finds Us Together

How life finds us together
Shouldn't be this hard

Torn down by any life
A hard luck sound
The sun is shining isn't it
Through
Whoever acts as god

How life finds us together
Shouldn't be this hard

For one room as ours
One peace of heart
One touch
We never left behind

How life finds us together
Shouldn't be this hard

How life finds us together
Shouldn't be this hard

How Do We Understand Us

Love isn't only a writing
Love is a show of words
Into life we hold

How do we understand us
A breath of fresh air always
How do we understand us

Love we share our way
Our present
Wrapped from the lord
Whatever anyone believes

How do we understand us
A breath of fresh air always
How do we understand us

Tired of roots I am shown
A walk around this island
I shouldn't see now

How do we understand us
A breath of fresh air always
How do we understand us

....................................

These Unclosed Doors

There are unclosed doors I left behind
These unclosed doors
Until I could return as I should find

I understand people are moving around
At the corner five and dime
Last time I noticed a never change
Last time I walked my river range

I understand people are sharing love
Call love whatever love seems as real
Last time I looked was a dead hill
I didn't think worth the climb

Read my mind of how I don't care
Read my mind of why I don't care
Read my mind

There are unclosed doors I left behind
These unclosed doors
Until I could return as I should find

Remember where I lived, more than time
Remember who I've known, more than time
Remember what I feel, more than a sky

Read my mind of how I don't care
Read my mind of why I don't care
Read my mind

There are unclosed doors I left behind
These unclosed doors
Until I could return as I should find

..............................

You Gave Heart

You sent love I never wanted to forget
A young girl's thought came true for awhile
When I was a young woman walking around
Your town was my home for my reason now

You gave heart I searched my world for
You traveled my mind to know your own
When I was in trust of you you came through
Your life was my home for my reason now

I don't always talk of the time together we shared
I do send with my empty moments of care
How today never seems to be complete for me
Always on I am sure you will hear, you will see

You gave heart I searched my world for
You traveled my mind to know your own
When I was in trust of you you came through
Your life was my home for my reason now

Luck comes in many ways to everyone some how
I held you as my own for way too long
Older doesn't seem to turn me away from you
You were my home for my every night alone

You gave heart I searched my world for
You traveled my mind to know your own
When I was in trust of you you came through
Your life was my home for my reason now

........................................................................

Can I Say Who Is Home

Can I say who is home
Who moves me I've known
I don't move away
You real in always a new step
Hard to find a new step away

Free most of my life
Never much love to need
Free to see most of life
Never much to care why
Free most of my day
Think I think of how

Can I say who is home
Who moves me I've known
I don't move away
You real in always a new step
Hard to find a new step away

To hear anything about you
I laugh in my heart
To know you so well
I laugh in your heart

Can I say who is home
Who moves me I've known
I don't move away
You real in always a new step
Hard to find a new step away

"Why, Who, When, How are the most frequent asked questions.
Where and What are the least."
.............

Did You Think I Would Forget You

Did you think I would forget you
To say what I want to you
How could I be with another
To make my way back through
Who would I turn to
Sons from the past of us
Today memories in you
Seek home where
Wouldn't I refuse to see a different day
Refuse to hear the wind say I'm wrong
Wouldn't I fight for life I say is right
I would defend you in the night
Look at you as the first day I met you
Hide behind who I know understands
Who was I when we were friends
Did you think I would forget you

.........

Words Spoken

Words spoken faded through you
Always will notice where you stand
Time had you in front every day
Doors opened with your hands
Stairs climbed, places gone now
Around my eyes to hold you
Often returns in your love
Hear you the same who you become
Expected I should follow the show
Need to step away to remember
Words spoken faded through you

..........

Where We Walked

Where we walked remains as most of my writing need
Not to mess with memories of friends long ago
I keep near to remind myself just how true they were
Listen through times hard to see every tune I heard
To use days until one small touch lets me by the haze
I don't always understand why a week may be lost
Still I continue for those hidden thoughts in my mind
Play never clear enough to share how I live there
Often only to reach when I walked in on you sweet
I know who is real, who isn't, what changed everyone
I may not have hung around long beside you but
The hotel stands in front of my arms for some reason
Where we walked remains as most of my writing need

..........

Was I Chosen To Feel This Night

Was I chosen to feel this night
No one can return loss of friends
People loved won't be back again
Reason I gave my heart to you
Had to hold on to my promise of you
For I didn't have videos when I was young
Even tv was short lived in my house
With school, care for life was real
I didn't play games of how would I
Made a plan to follow where I needed
Met who I knew to be on my side of time
I let every musical reach enter my world
Collected sounds without eyes to see
Only as I grew older I could look again
With pictures to place beside me
I remembered cameras, fun holds
But memories were on my mind
How I was torn away then live by
Why I take any minute as mine now
Was I chosen to feel this night
No one can return loss of friends
People loved won't be back again
Reason I gave my heart to you
Had to hold on to my promise of you

.......

Better Than Gone To The Wind

Better than gone to the wind with warm desire at all ends
Life is friends here today once meant to be tonight
Love is a writing I can share feelings you hold are mine
People I can watch as often as I like know I am near
Rescued by the start of my time on earth through tomorrow
Escapes meant for me to touch from words send home true
The world we cared to remember who we belong with
Reasons to find at any age we call to each other in why
Missing minutes can only return through memories now
Hearts to reach how one times had to be real missing there
Though I can't see beyond then I can keep alive
Better than gone to the wind with warm desire at all ends

..........

What Do I Mean

What do I mean
In trajedy after trajedy I read
The way of your life
Sound after sound I hear
I pay for your love
Light after light I see
Lights appear simple to need
Then a story of time shines
Only ours is still not true
To touch beyond my thought
If thought creates me
Takes clouds to pass
Our memory to play one day
For days to return
An envision of reality
What do I mean

..............

A Day To Day Memory

A day to day memory placed together by friends I met
Their songs for the words take me through the years
From first time I heard a tune to the last night to night
I stop for awhile to hear again who I envisioned real
If I were to touch their hands again, minds as we shared
Every room I was gifted to fall into by some need then
I can't always understand how changes in the hours were
But I do notice you stand before me the same way
What makes one stand out more than another has a reason
Of the laughter, greeting of your warm hand cold now
Only before here after I still haven't seen you won't return
So on these minutes pass with me a new thought is old
A day to day memory placed together by friends I met

............

I Only Remember What I Want

I only remember what I want
To find from the story in my eyes
Sure I see everyone and everywhere
I can turn for a writing
These friends bring the right changes
I can hold is where I remain
I don't grow tired over one page
To the next I talk to you as alive
Never would you fall away from my need
For trophies I don't want
Enough is placed behind
Glass can break at any given turn
It is hard to leave you but for sanity
I must move a new mountain awhile
Look in on young I won't understand
Once was a door entered now shut
On walks our day anyway
Many nights of wonder won't let me leave
Unless I remain silent
Without my music had to be true
I only remember what I want
To find from the story in my eyes

..............

I Intended To Stay Alone

I intended to stay alone without the stars I was shown
When in hollywood I still didn't meet all memory I wanted
I planned a lonely life until you would tell my story right
Never hidden, my mind wasn't turned down as some imagined
I sent my love to you beyond so many warm tokens handed
New york city was home I had to bring to light as today
Oh I was understood by the night just didn't care for it much
I must add I made real choices for a spirit as mine to fly
Everywhere is still you even if everywhere is gone now
I intended to stay alone without the stars I was shown

..............

Next Time

I may have been asked to go to a few museums
Next time will have to say yes on an end to you
Have fun when my mind was more on you
Turned down a few houses could be true
History repeats itself I held on with may return
I must have been crazy to believe in that line
But I feel though this was who I had to become
Don't know I would take the same way in memory
Have to begin again without yesterday tonight
I expect I should follow the plan I created until
I can see my story with your eyes near
Next time will have to say yes on an end of you

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
