Some Thoughts

Some thoughts can be left behind
Some thoughts stay in one place
Some thoughts speak of real life
Some thoughts choose silence
Some thoughts won't understand
What else could be in the world

Where I was that one day from you
Where I stay I continue to play
You were too sweet to give away

Everytime I walk through you
I can speak of true times alive
Tough to feel different, find a change

Some thoughts can be left behind
Some thoughts stay in one place
Some thoughts speak of real life
Some thoughts choose silence
Some thoughts won't understand
What else could be in the world

There were moments I tried to forget
The meaning to you in my love
Those special times can never end

Some thoughts can be left behind
Some thoughts stay in one place
Some thoughts speak of real life
Some thoughts choose silence
Some thoughts won't understand
What else could be in the world

Will You Ever Come Home

 Will you ever come home
My soul dies every day
I'm away from your love
My life cries in every way
Gone from your arms
My love doesn't know what to do
Without your love
Will you ever come home

My Trust In You Was So Great

I can see the moment I waited on you
Touch my reason of coloring true
How much of my life I gave for you
The words spoken, thoughts held

My trust in you was so great
Your friendship never a mistake
Love was real from you, from me

What appeared as young nights
I gave away many fun times
What may have been had I changed
Where would I be today

My trust in you was so great
Your friendship never a mistake
Love was real from you, from me

Who I hear now until you return
Why I stop on this tune once played
Not only a song as a radio says
Grown reaches I was handed by you

My trust in you was so great
Your friendship never a mistake
Love was real from you, from me

Follow The Old Days True

I will

Follow the old days true, hear the old songs blue
Remember you as I would be in meaning with
A walk beyond the sound of a sea doesn't belong

Looks like this sadness is going to be around awhile
Unless you move us forward, bring around a smile
Looks like writing will be my friend in you awhile

Hard to say anything more than I already have
Hard to believe you won't answer me again

I will

Follow the old days true, hear the old songs blue
Remember you as I would be in meaning with
A walk beyond the sound of a sea doesn't belong

What time tries to change seems to remain
What I ask from you never fails answered anyway
What I find around the next corner I must wait
You won't forget to hear my want from you

I will

Follow the old days true, hear the old songs blue
Remember you as I would be in meaning with
A walk beyond the sound of a sea doesn't belong

I will

Follow the old days true, hear the old songs blue
Remember you as I would be in meaning with
A walk beyond the sound of a sea doesn't belong

I Miss My Old Days

I miss my old days
More than I miss life
Love
What is called home
I miss my old days
Not always happy
Some hard to get by
Always was
Always a smile around
I miss my old days

Why I Am Who I Am Today

Some rains fall just right
Other pains hurt too deep
Some laughter is kind
Other laughter low to night
Some hopes never real
Other hopes my own to feel

Some people are now gone
Some remain

Why I am who I am today

Some cares meaningful
Other cares meaningless
Some changes good for heart
Other changes not so smart
Some worlds well with love
Other worlds love without love

Some lives will do anything to live
Other lives fight for right within

Why I am who I am today

Some times are memorable
Other times easy to pass away

Some people are now gone
Some remain

Why I am who I am today

On Balboa Island In The Winter Time

On Balboa island in the winter time
Summer too full of guests
In wait of you, until I return to you
On Balboa Island in the winter time

From island to peninsula to island again
I ride along this forever life I live
Quiet in the day, empty in the night
Only the ocean moves my thought to say
My home remains far away
A peace to run, a walk to spend

On Balboa island in the winter time
Summer too full of guests
In wait of you, until I return to you
On Balboa Island in the winter time

To hold well for a moment, but not heart
To watch sails, seek through the yachts
Wander the roads again this years end
Beauty lost inside of my want
Remembering along side of my need
Collected of my time, am I
Called to for why, a bridge to cross again

On Balboa island in the winter time
Summer too full of guests
In wait of you, until I return to you
On Balboa island in the winter time

My Week In Hollywood

My week in hollywood
Once to never then
Will all time return
Now explain itself
A theme of who
A thought on who
My week in hollywood

A Precious Mind

A precious mind must be left to grow
With a clock or two of who knows
A precious mind as a quiet toy

A precious mind is hard to find
The love for a precious mind at times lost
The life, care, world of warmth, treasure
Ease to a precious mind must be gentle

A precious mind must be left to grow
With a clock or two of who knows
A precious mind as a quiet toy

A precious mind, body and soul
Heart, spirit do we all really know
We look from the ground into a sky
Try looking from the sky into my eyes

A precious mind must be left to grow
With a clock or two of who knows
A precious mind as a quiet toy

I Only Play Tunes Care For Me

I only play tunes care for me
The song must sing complete

I only play with my memories
The days of my life
The people in my hello time

What I left behind, why
Where I was, in my need now
Never to hold today wrong

My way of who I am always
How I miss, who I miss, why

I only play tunes care for me
The song must sing complete

I only play my real turns
The nights of my want
Gifts shared I received, why

From the very mention of me
For my treasure to carry true

My never again, moments gone
Who I was, everyone to me, why

I only play tunes care for me
The song must sing complete

How Did We Have To Live

How did we have to live
Who did we have to be

A thought written of one friend
Then I find to the next
Where will this story of mine end

Reading along side of a tune
What is a meaning now to you
From time to time

How did we have to live
Who did we have to be

If I stopped on every word, phrase
Corrected all I share
I would have lost interest in you

Often lines sound fun, my interest
I leave well alone when I feel

How did we have to live
Who did we have to be

I look beyond imagination
I see into real life, the true
What isn't taught when younger
To some
What we learn along our way

A thought written of one friend
Then I find to the next
Where will this story of mine end

Reading along side of a tune
What is a meaning now to you
From time to time

How did we have to live
Who did we have to be

..

When You Need A Friend

When you need a friend from the past
I have a few complaints won't get me far
So I live through how I hear you
Love you as I can then sing of a feeling remains
Before you move in front of me refuse to love
Don't look back for me to want your love
Countless times I hoped you hear the truth
When you need a friend from the past

....

Remember Your Friends

Remember your friends
Never a need unanswered
Never a thought forgotten
Never a friend let down
Only a feeling to continue
Never a want to travel
I see from my eyes
Know who to rely on
Know when to leave
Never without thanks
Save where I hide
Come out when time is real
Know who holds my memories
Where I get my strength
Done with writing
Then I write again
Take a moment for peace
Love isn't all about sex
Life isn't what appears true
Never the less
Remember your friends

...

Of Jon Bon Jovi when I had the fun talking with him along a storm drain in Southern California many many years ago.

Happened Along The Highway

Happened along the highway between Laguna Beach and LA
Could have been your home land didn't move me
A chance to talk with you away from the lights of stage
When time was warm to answer my favorite needs
Never will believe how chosen I was to find those friends
On a walk down love when alone in nowhere to be
Once again at that little restaurant by the sea
But I had to keep my life to hold on for this tonight
Happens to still share who I want in my life
I wouldn't give away the man of my heart to Hollywood
Shouldn't change as you once told me to believe
Don't party if that's how I must find my answers
Yea there are often thoughts what made me hang on
For someone still today I haven't spoken with over 50 years
Happened along the highway between Laguna Beach and LA

.....

Tonight Now Moves In

Tonight now moves in
With those childhood sightings return
Don't want to know why
Just going to say good night for awhile
Wake to have who on my mind again
Should I take a trip away a bit
Will this end my longing
I never tried
Don't think so
When I won't play the game of why
So when I wore rock and roll boots
Carried a guitar as my baby
I still loved who or just my writing truth
Tonight now moves in
With those childhood sightings return

.....

50 Freaking Years

50 freaking years
I waited to here from you again
Through more alone
Anyone should need to feel
Writing of anything and anyone
To keep my mind on you
Still to love you as I did
When I wanted to be your friend
Funny how only a few friends remain in my eyes
Then I come to you
As I did in those first days in New York
I get confused as to who I am
Some nights never end
With the heart of how
I survived pulls on my shoulder
The only strength I could find to believe some day
50 freaking years
I waited to here from you again

...

Freeze Over Tomorrow

Freeze over tomorrow
I might just make the moon fall one last time to freeze over tomorrow
Freeze over tomorrow
What can I say for you to understand the meaning of your love
How a day to remember you turns into years I didn't understand
Why should I forgive the wind for how cold I found myself in trust
All would take is one minute I held on for some incredible end I waited
You surely had to think deep enough I would never decide to hurt you
There must have been someone in front of me sent you away
Certainly forgiveness won't change the life we shared disappeared
I lost a lot of time with you time still needs to answer how will be replaced
From one care to another only for you to be near never cared enough
To bring us together again and I want the reason before I leave tonight
Or I may just toss life across this universe for everyone to break deep
Like I did oh how I broke over not getting to talk with you of my love
Don't underestimate my anger and no one better try to explain cause I
Freeze over tomorrow
I might just make the moon fall one last time to freeze over tomorrow
Freeze over tomorrow

I'm Still The Same Girl Cares For You

I was only eight years old in 1960
You were eighteen already
I followed you like a child for love
Until I was ten did I start growing up
By the time you were twenty four
I was just fourteen in the country
When I found the city of you
I didn't know a thing about life
I looked at you as someone I knew
From those songs I thought were true
I didn't have a different world
Sure I partied with friends but I
I'm still the same girl cares for you
I had to learn some things to live
As I wrote myself into your arms
But I
I'm still the same girl cares for you
I'm still the same girl cares for you
I couldn't change my mind
Wouldn't settle for less than you
Had to know why you touched me so
I'm still the same girl cares for you

...

Fortunately

Unfortunately there isn't any more on my time need
Keeps this alone grown to enjoy memories worth today
Love to me isn't a game to play for a thought wasn't true
Just to talk with anyone because I can't talk with you
To find a song to explain your love I feel a world alive
Without a song from you doesn't change who you are
I didn't expect you to remember us doesn't stop my love
I know the place we shared can't be erased away
To hear you tonight only keeps me close to you
We may never be together to hold how I hold you
Fortunately there isn't any more on my time need
Keeps this alone grown to enjoy memories worth today

....

Sure Is A Funny Game

Sure is a funny game on the planet earth never to forgive
If you could hear me one time tell you of my life but no
In thought of how to find you over years taken why true
When we shared our feelings doesn't leave my love
How I don't need another need to play tonight in
What about now after all memories written
Any and every way to share who I found was real
Sure the world keeps growing on here or not
How to lose you can only be said with so many words
Then I might as well be talking to myself
So the end of a new touch is clear explain
Yea if god can give no reason who can
Just asking for the truth again
Sure is a funny game on the planet earth never to forgive

....

I Don't Need A New Memory

I don't need a new memory to write unless to continue of who I once loved
Won't let the story change until I say all I want to you so let the night leave
I didn't spend my life to give away my only want from some low moment
If I'm to feel down the rest of my life on this land I walk then so be it
How I needed you when you were taken away was the last hurt I would take
I had enough of missing words I wasn't allowed to speak wasn't right to live
When I finally broke free of reasoned chains had no price I should pay
I quit following a tomorrow unless yesterday walked hand in hand with
I won't be told what to think, when to believe, where to see inside of me
I dont need a new memory to write unless to continue of who I once loved

....

Think Of The Many Years Written

Think of the many years written into my alone
If only to feel feelings I wanted to know
I grow tired of near every day shown to live
Night is over before night begins
Interesting I come through many memories
Then I decide I don't want to go back no more
But your memory I could keep alive without thought
Explain how my love can stay this way with you
I learn to dance with my time in the sun
I wake to use a new sign of a word in a song
Life isn't as if I haven't been there to leave
I don't want to set down the joy I need
Think of the many years written into my alone

.....

Bring Me Up To Date

Bring me up to date for a little while
I may not agree when it's good to hear you
If to make me think how words are
Are secrets good or bad
What is a secret life
I would have chosen real life in the past
Now truth is a bit more to take hold of
Then on I move back to our youth
Feel there love is you
Not much to change when silence appears
It's too quiet some days with nothing to hear
Bring me up to date for a little while

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
