On This Cinder Block I Stand

On this cinder block I stand
Home has a heart sure
I won't find one
Reaching through to my door

Looking for noise
Keeps me holding on to you
Watching my life
Living I lived once real

Without change to find
My enjoyment never near

On this cinder block I stand
Home has a heart sure
I won't find one
Reaching through to my door

On this cinder block I stand
Home has a heart sure
I won't find one
Reaching through to my door

Reading my name remains

Aging on tonight
As if chooses before I can
Hoping tomorrow is different
Handing my thoughts care

Without change to find
My enjoyment never near

On this cinder block I stand
Home has a heart sure
I won't find one
Reaching through to my door

On this cinder block I stand
Home has a heart sure
I won't find one
Reaching through to my door

Held For A Wish From You

These havens of ice are cold
Appear warm of gold
Given the day to use on love
The night is without life

Held for a wish from you
Touched by a shadow you sent
I remain myself
You are still near

With fun on my mind
Doesn't grow the same
After you and I shared
How you never will leave me

Held for a wish from you
Touched by a shadow you sent
I remain myself
You are still near

I am lucky in my way
Sure of you in my way
Seen by you as when
You are still there

These havens of ice are cold
Appear warm of gold
Given the day to use on love
The night is without life

Held for a wish from you
Touched by a shadow you sent
I remain myself
You are still near

Held for a wish from you
Touched by a shadow you sent
I remain myself
You are still near

I Know The Story Line

I know the story line
I know your travel from beginning to why

Life holds many touches to notice
Feelings to play, cares to explain
Silence holds my true thoughts
Until when I speak I find there

How we shared our moments
As I must see love was with us
Let me be real for your heart to beat
For your heart beats real with mine

I know the story line
I know your travel from beginning to why

This world is full of days used wrong
Only to use for a selfish song
Without my night of calm me down
I couldn't get through you now

I know the story line
I know your travel from beginning to why

I know the story line
I know your travel from beginning to why

....

Move Me True, Move Me Real

Move me true, move me real
I wait on you as when

I wait on thoughts to write
My feelings through the night
After day has played
With my way I get through
My life, life of any desire
I wait on love to love

Move me true, move me real
I wait on you as when

I wait on songs to hear
I find my tunes
Often hour after hour is silent
Then I wake within

Move me true, move me real
I wait on you as when

Move me true, move me real
I wait on you as when

....

Your Arms Are My Only Way To Hold Me

With my life I look through today
Watch changes of how these play
With my love for thought on tonight
This world is bigger than I care to find

Around me there seems to be why
Do I walk with trees more than time
You touch the reason I touch you
No one would imagine I stand true

To choose

Your arms are my only way to hold me

Your arms are my only way to hold me

Most of my years for you the same
To let me know your years as real
I talked to only you talked to me

Your arms are my only way to hold me

Your arms are my only way to hold me

I Always Played Hearts

I always played hearts
I never liked diamonds
Never liked spades
Clubs not my want
I always played hearts

Within Our Little Places Of Where

Within our little places of where
Excused away by our own fears
Right isn't wrong, wrong isn't right
Wait, there are many more tomorrows

Doesn't time touch the color of day
Does time watch the shade of night
Who creates endless hope
Why fight for life never ends

Doesn't thought have a choice
Does thought think all by itself
Seems to me memory holds love
Notice the way we forget to need

Within our little places of where
Excused away by our own fears
Right isn't wrong, wrong isn't right
Wait, there are many more tomorrows

Haven't I shared enough reason
Until I can't quit to explain
How often do we all look away
From now on through again we stay

Within our little places of where
Excused away by our own fears
Right isn't wrong, wrong isn't right
Wait, there are many more tomorrows

I Live In A Picture Frame

I live in a picture frame
A morning, evening frame
I live in a picture frame
No one I know made for me

Moving around a little time
Into how love hangs around
For why life finds me now
Moving around a little time

Watching through patterns
I create
Noticing how these appear
To touch where I was
Once there again
Without answers I understand

I live in a picture frame
A morning, evening frame
I live in a picture frame
No one I know made for me

Making light play for me
Taking dark then to see
My thoughts are somewhere
Different to reach

I live in a picture frame
A morning, evening frame
I live in a picture frame
No one I know made for me

Interesting People

Interesting people
Thought worthy finds
Lost in my writings
To pass today around
My emotions
I don't choose
My flowers await
I don't need
Night will leave
I will touch why
I won't care
To understand how
If anything
I will only explain
Want I find
At times isn't mine

...

We Are Where We Share

We are where we share
After we speak
After we see, we hear
We are where we share

You continue to love me
Through this time we care
I begin to forget

You continue to live me
I don't try to leave
Have I my new day
My new night my way

We are where we share
After we speak
After we see, we hear
We are where we share

I can't win, can I win
When I try

I can't win, can I win
When I don't try

We are where we share
After we speak
After we see, we hear
We are where we share

...

Who Really Cares

Who really cares
Who really cares
For this hold on me you share

There are no new turns to live
No new thoughts to begin
No new feelings to feel
Love is old

My younger years I look through
Would I change
Only to see you the same

Who really cares
Who really cares
For this hold on me you share

....

I Won't Move Another Way

I won't move another way
I don't feel I miss anything
Believe me I would change
Could be I like lost in space and you
Not just any top of the town will do
Well then if the begin was from you
The end must be too
No care what I still feel through
In this last writing
Too much love still true
But I got to find
Something different for my time
Only the thought doesn't come
Entertain my mind
I know you were looking at me
Will I see you
Can't fall into any other time
I got to stay safe
If to make it somewhere
Away from nowhere with you
I won't move another way

With You Tonight Home Tomorrow

With you tonight home tomorrow
New weekend of thought gone soon
Open to life if life is true
Aren't we all just passing through who
So take away words of laughter
Tears once real do I find again
With you is there a heart
Only a memory grows before you
Let's just pretend there is nothing blue
Sure someone owns something somewhere
Don't you see me once in awhile see you
With you what happens to us
Sounds like most people don't notice the sun
Only warm with shades for a minute
Did everything you loved disappear one day
To meet you again my way
With you tonight home tomorrow

I've Written About A Lot Of People

I've written about a lot of people touched my life
In song from meetings or just playing around
Thought I loved everyone from time to time
Wouldn't love until I talked with you again
I am not surprised you would share
A few of our moments with the world
I saved every moment until I still can't find you near
Many holds I couldn't though take hold
Continue to remind me you were who I was after
When I came down to who moves me
I laugh at what need on earth is shown I should need
How so many rings fell in front of my want
To turn away for stone wasn't true to my heart
Then I look at you from within your mind
Oh if your quiet hears me I have enough sound
You don't owe me more than I owe you now
I've written about a lot of people touched my life

...

If I Slam The Door

If I slam the door will you awaken
Of every place I lived this house I miss the most
Now home is a different story
I lived a lot of writing here of you, love and time
Thought one day the door would open to you
Gave want a try, need a sigh, silence was real
Where next can't be better than you
Fire place blues, holiday news, free to think you
Jacuzzi rest, pool had it's day alone with me
I walked around the world of you
Still look through the windows to you
Hedges trimmed fine for vines grown over me
Front yard always empty
Soon I will see these front doors one last time
I won't leave to enter again
Ceilings high to reach my mind of you
Cabinets were always bare for my likes
Nothing moves as I sit to say good bye not you
I play with lights watch the fountain cry for me
Hall to yellow had to be
If I slam the door will you awaken

Every Sea I Watch Drown Me

Every sea I watch drown me
I'm way ahead of you when it comes to why
I see you there in my night
I was in front of you before I met you
Got to be this way until my life is through
I don't believe in every song
Only the ones know how to move my love
I think about the life I paved to walk you
I just never cared to change my route
I hear how I may have lived different
This comes down to my want
My need isn't for any home
I never could turn myself around
From the long and winding road
To Malibu on my own
I have a life to be someone to you
Every sea I watch drown me

Should I Leave The Treasures Of My Escapes

Should I leave the treasures of my escapes then let's stop there
My life is about getting in touch with my life from yesterday
Why every step was taken and how this made me who I am today
I may not remember every change in the time but the people remain
My loyalty holds true without thought or question
So when I have time I return to the songs I played on my mind
For one more touch of love I started before I was pulled away
Sure the city was a dangerous game to home only I was a lucky girl
Every town I came on had a place for me to rest then move through
Should I leave the treasures of my escapes then let's stop there

I Can't See Outside Of My Own Realm

I can't see outside of my own realm change in age, place or time
Something continues to pull me through every turn comes along
Lleads me to a destined heart of mind I ask did I plan young
By everyone I met to the last few years write every word about
Those same people from my child days for me make my nights real
One special friend of my teen years brough all memory missing back
Still alive as others disappeared into their next worlds for me there
I wasn't sure how to meet you again would become my final stand
I can't see outside of my own realm change in age, place or time

70s Weren't True

70s weren't true
I just wanted to get to you now look at the mess I'm in
Stuck on the travels after the 60s I don't need to hear
To drift away from the love I had for you wasn't my thought
Though more writings came my way is today still you
I understand many tunes why should I stop to remember
Then the 50s I hold you there too ask what was right
Some memories aren't mine must stay away from my mind
80s, 90s, 2000s now gone but for a few friends I keep close
If to make my way where back to you today or never care
70s weren't true

I Didn't Like Central Park

I didn't like central park
Now the village I will remember
Across the river bridge
Pathway of my walks
63-68 then I was gone
To listen one time then must leave
Hendrix, you again to mind
Cant place how I landed on you
Square park not every day times
Would you get it strait who I was
Too hard rock made me take off
But been through these memories
Don't need more unless to talk with you
I didn't like central park

Just to write away love
Take the sky down

Just Going Over Memories Again

Just going over memories again of you
Why do people only believe what they want to believe
Don't take time to think to look at the truth sings a story is real
Anything new to find I might hear from you I listen close
I say what I want don't need to explain some memories are yours
After the village now was too late to touch my years
Still too far away from me thoughts would fade away to be forgotten
All of the scenes I was in to look for a reason I was there
Pretty much alone but for the musicians were great to me
Made me realize who loved me the most
Let me travel back and forth from any place I should remember of you
To pursue my need I regret at times hasn't changed tomorrow
Can't go back anymore until you speak, I understand you may never
So no telling whats coming then its time to take a break been running all day
Just going over memories again of you

....

I Don't Expect To Change You For Me

I don't expect to change you for me, for you I am free
I can't dwell on how we should have spoken to each other deeper of life
I won't let myself listen to why we broke apart was no fault of our own
Unless to count on youth of misunderstood experience had to exist once
This thing called love has way too many meanings to capture just one
So I spend my thought on you when I have the hours let me close again
I figure we will share this story of together within us where we must feel
And the world now will be with us or disappear into some other care
Then if we should part we will come true to find how to stop an end
I don't expect to change you for me, for you I am free

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
