Was I On Your Mind

Not what I'm looking for
Not what I need to find
Not what I feel inside
Not on my day of life
Not a talk of reason
Not a walk of how
Not a care to when
Was I on your mind
Not a want to understand
Not a call to answer
Not a night goes by
Not interested in why
Was I on your mind
Not a lesson of love
Not a sound do I miss
Not a gift to buy
Was I on your mind

....

All Of Love Is Wrong

All of love is wrong
On my way of today
With tonight as my song
My quiet way to get along

No more railroad times
Buses are gone
Planes cross our divide
I choose not to fly on

Cars keep life in time
Thoughts of you play now
Next I will see
Earth and world fall down

All of love is wrong
On my way of today
Tonight is my song
My quiet way to get along

A want to hear from you
What will you send was once
Could never leave me behind
All of love is wrong

All of love is wrong
On my way of today
Tonight is my song
My quiet way to get along

All of love is wrong
On my way of today
Tonight is my song
My quiet way to get along

....

I Have To Laugh

I have to laugh
At the reasons I frown
For my touch then
Into your heart
What once was love
Now near with

People live in a dream world
Believe what they will
Share how they find
For never a new change

People think as they wish
Say what they need
Want for a better world
Don't do a thing

I have to laugh
At the reasons I frown
For my touch then
Into your heart
What once was love
Now near with

People stand for tomorrow
Today is long gone
Only to reach back
Find a reason for a song
A life to belong

I have to laugh
At the reasons I frown
For my touch then
Into your heart
What once was love
Now near with

...

Known Of You

Known of you
Too well can be silencing
Deafening

Forgot for a moment
Where I was going
Stood looking into
How I came to now
Took a look back
To find why

Known of you
Too well can be silencing
Deafening

I sit here now
Held on one page
In this haven't got a clue
What is next
Real seems to be
Anything made true

Known of you
Too well can be silencing
Deafening

When I was watching you
From within
To watch from without
Doesn't bring life
Life has a need
With love grown right
Wrong in place
Known of the song too well

Known of you
Too well can be silencing
Deafening

A Sun To Shine

A sun to shine doesn't belong to anyone
A is for let us begin to rule the sky

A book to read isn't to be spoken
A song to sing is to sing, hear
A thought to think is for thinking
A writing to wonder over for why
A day to come isn't today and now
A past is only good for learning from
A night to find what darkness means
A follow through with what is to come

A sun to shine doesn't belong to anyone
A is for let us begin to rule the sky

A person to need is a person to need
A person to want is a person to want
A free mind is my mind for always
A turn of how my quiet lays around
A view to find is open to everyone
A walk, a talk if to hold a care I choose

A sun to shine doesn't belong to anyone
A is for let us begin to rule the sky

A sun to shine doesn't belong to anyone
A is for let us begin to rule the sky

.....

Lost In the World Today

Lost in the world today
Dont know how to get away
I dont want to look anymore
Into another way
Lost in the world today

....

In This World Of Stories

In this world of stories
We all have to share

Great show of emotion
When does truth shine
I may watch, listen
As I see, hear through
To know you as I do

In this world of stories
We all have to share

Mine I hold quiet
I send a writing to feel
Live telegram to understand

In this world of stories
We all have to share

Grow to my mind
Earth then your time
Have we love left to care

In this world of stories
We all have to share

....

Have You Forgotten Me Again

Have you forgotten me again
I listen to all hearts
My heart never heard real
The beat of my alive
Have you forgotten me again

I want to lay down in my bed
Never ending green love
Life to send to you
Travel my mind
Feel my feelings for all time
Carry my emotions true

Have you forgotten me again
I listen to all hearts
My heart never heard real
The beat of my alive
Have you forgotten me again

I want to see my boots walk me
Bitterness gone to the rain
Something different for me
My turn of hope leave
No more of the same need
Understand me

Have you forgotten me again
I listen to all hearts
My heart never heard real
The beat of my alive
Have you forgotten me again

.....

If I Want Love

If I want love
If I want love I can watch you
Remember true friendship
Don't need to learn a new world
Why I look into yesterday
Life was real then
Had a meaning of innocence
Didn't have to pretend
Fingers never promise crossed
Won't start now
If I want love I can hear you
Listen to those true words
Follow through on real thoughts
Color tonight with brightness
If I want love, if I want love
Remember a few warm holds
From you
If I want love
If I want love I can watch you

......................

If Just To Reach You

If just to reach you with my writing
The strength I carry from within
Inspirations aren't my journey
Oh for the literary agent again
To publish my feeling for you
I as easy lay back in your song
Know some day the end is over
Other wants can't move me along
By the week, day, month, evening
Closed for discussion of another win
This screen goes dark in front of me
If just to reach you with my writing

...

Is A Cleanse Of The Heart Real

Is a cleanse of the heart real
Hold on love
Always on my own
Never truly home
Thought of you most of my life
Hard to change now
Turn away from my song
For a different feeling
Rest brings you to mind
Begins another time
I see you in my eyes
If I listen, when I don't
Up all night, need day to leave
Remember why
Is a cleanse of the heart real
Hold on love

Everyone Has An Intro

Everyone has an intro within today
Some people hear it, some won't say
New members to meet no one there
I can enjoy to understand
Why should I care
International pretense to become known
National is a start but only for some
Contests get me somewhere but not to you
Local visions I been there too
Oh for the office party bores me
Novels, fiction, how to choose words to write
I just walk along with my own sweet life
Poetry has a chance on thousands of signs
If only you would remember who I am
Then the western world meets eastern views
Games of hearts sewn together by loneliness
Campfire girls, majorettes, girl scouts, brownies
I was given everything but each other with you
Everyone has an intro within today

...

Sometimes I Take A Day To Read Of Life

Sometimes I take a day to read of life
In other words to display how to love
Look at columns of so many ways on time
If to share with you where I am tonight
It's fun to read advice I know the answer
Literary hot spots, musical places to hear
But you know what I don't find you again
Conversation outside never touched me
Only when I read something is not true
Success stories are a challenge this year
Thrillers, romance, mysteries won't change
Sometimes I take a day to read of life
In other words to display how to love

........................................................

When I Should Have Fallen

When I should have fallen in many traps I refused with you in mind
I learned more than one star shines around how I want life
I said no when I may have had a better body and mind didn't care
These words became the treasure of all possible things to touch
One of the most fortunate girls in the world when I was young
Though I didn't see enough until I look at you tonight I had an idea
You were always meant to be someone I would see to need
I could rely on you for a good heart inside of anywhere I wandered
So few minutes I made into long hours for feelings of you to feel
I continued in deafening silence still to hold who I loved on a page
Once in awhile torn to answer realize my hard home was easy
A small price to pay to miss you as I must know you again
When I should have fallen in many traps I refused with you in mind
I learned more than one star shines around how I want life
I said no when I may have had a better body and mind didn't care
These words became the treasure of all possible things to touch

.....

My Mother And Father Started My Life

My mother and father started my life
I just happened to reach through then to you
My fight to survive kept me alive
How I thought of what happened to us
Doesn't mean much where next I find
I figure before tonight will come along
So on I grew after many ways to experience
Whether I chose at any age I followed this need
I was gifted to understand tough love
Made the world somewhere I may be myself
Most of time I wasn't happy, didn't have a hope
For the writings I heard to share still don't
Sat in many restaurant booths alone not to care
As long as I got better within the sun I warmed
Let each old turn start again never to forgive
My mother and father started my life

As I Struggle To Understand

As I struggle to understand why life is real
Or does life exist in the way spoken true

It's not easy to leave the memory of you
Though I have friends to turn for love
I try to send best wishes to you

But often I question how I happened by you
In the right time for this writing tonight
Over endless feelings won't let me sleep

Some people still come to mind
I leaned on until I could remember you
Explain who you are to mean so much

As I struggle to understand why life is real
Or does life exist in the way spoken true

What was I doing in your eyes, you in mine
Yea I need to hear how this teenager
Walked in and out of your world
To make summer vacation miles away you
From a home I had no idea how

Now can't even hear you as I did then
Seems strange every time you come to mind
But oh well morning will be here soon

As I struggle to understand why life is real
Or does life exist in the way spoken true

....

Rush Around If To Survive

Rush around if to survive brings you back tonight I was right
To be known for my writing, love for who I love, why I turn to you
When everyone was good to me only could never make me happy
Satisfied comes with any new writing I find to hope you read
Understand how the loss of you touched my life of many feelings
Any attention from you through all we may learn kept me going
Brought a sun I created by myself forgotten wonders do explain
I just can't let pass by without a word or two I take as ours
There wasn't to be another world so in this world I play for you
Rush around if to survive brings you back tonight I was right
To be known for my writing, love for who I love, why I turn to you

..........................................

Keep Your Life Within My Life

Keep your life within my life
Don't let go when tonight comes
How I still treasure your love
Keep your life within my life

I don't want to read of anyone else
Don't need to hear today exists
Won't look through books I found

Played a fan of love enough
Listened to city streets talk
Along store fronts once ours

Keep your life within my life
Don't let go when tonight comes
How I still treasure your love
Keep your life within my life

Take how I miss you to extreme
Hold special thoughts in place

Keep your life within my life
Don't let go when tonight comes
How I still treasure your love
Keep your life within my life

Let The Song Sing New

I have to stay close to who raised me

Memories became my life

Leave long enough to return

Never grow beyond

Read writings I found to save for today

Look at how I live with tonight

See the difference in a dream as real

Existence passed by to hold again

Long for those touches once true

Then move through every reason

Let the song sing new

...

Living With Your Life

Living with your life sends a different message than a dream

Shows a real time returns in the norm of feelings

Lets through how memory continues to speak within

Waves of lines across this screen for unknown miracles yet

Impossible is the most fun to touch after day ends

Well aware nothing exists unless I can wander into you

Living with your life sends a different message than a dream

...

Sounds Like I Had A Good Time

Sounds like I had a good time

Well I made life through oldies years

Moved on past disco

Found rock and roll long enough to feel

Over with rap on my mind

In jokes and laughter not too many tears

Shocks and disasters calm today

Skating on my way for no where new

Sounds like I had a good time

Rhythm, old blues, stars for night

Taken by no one true

Found a few dreams to hold awhile

Notice how I fought for my free time

I followed ideas only as mine

Pleased to understand

Refused to change why

I made life through without love

Sounds like I had a good time

...

Another Reason Comes To Mind

Another reason comes to mind wasn't a thought I lived

Love spoken as if love was on my life turns for love

Need from my world torn down without a want of my own

Chosen for before I could answer a call from anyone

I had to hide in the night on how to explain who I was

By feelings I didn't understand a child should feel

Woman I would ask to see who would I hear as mine

More than I can understand when I look back at you

The sun needs my attention doesn't shine bright

Did you have to remind me of every little moment

Another reason comes to mind wasn't a thought I lived

...

My Own Voice

I don't know if I want to listen to my own voice

Thoughts on a song I was the writer of

Seems I read the same words

Once in awhile enjoy the change of tune

Then I wait for a new need to share with myself

I won't live in the world of something else

A test wins ideas move beyond

I don't know if I want to listen to my own voice

...

I Hope To Talk With You Again

I hope to talk with you again

End our thrown away feelings one day

Forget once friends in the beginning

Hold a new time we need

Walk a minute we remember one night

Touch life we missed

See our world together return

Think of thoughts age grows as lost

Hear want remained within us apart

Locked inside of where we met

This writing found to share

I hope to talk with you again

...

I Was Your Favorite Girl Once

I was your favorite girl once

When the city was young

Life was a world of only us

Days passed before morning

Never a dream to lose

The treasure of a friend

Question for an answer

Falls before me still today

Without memory over evening

Only our talk together

Your need I would leave

Second thoughts your choice

Many towns then to find

Feelings I play to sleep sound

Touch wasn't wrong

I was your favorite girl once

...

If You Could Hear Why I Lost You

If you could hear why I lost you

Not only when you tried to keep peace

Held me away from the sun might burn

Didn't want a wrong touch to begin

What your sweater means I see

I would love to correct every word

You may have misunderstood as real

Truth I wasn't gifted to speak

Oh how young I was to meet your touch

I had to travel through became my life

But often day breaks in on my want

Night takes so long to go by

Then I read the story I can't change

If you could hear why I lost you

...

Not Until Christmas

Not until Christmas will I move my way different

Don't need July to plan for the future now

Capitalize a word if I won't feel like tonight

The only reason I change is a tune to look real

Different from the year before seems true

In quiet I keep dark, warm, peaceful as life

One room makes up for my lost stream

Walks gone to a mean blue sky never bright

Why notice today light

Not until Christmas

...

No One Knows Everything To Know

No one knows everything to know

I can repeat time any way I please

Reach into my mind for a game to play

Look at ideas move through day

Listen until life finds a better place

Pace the floor beyond another door

Change any room for awhile

Laugh on thoughts appear at night

Sit in the dark of want oh need

No one knows everything to know

Make desire real isn't real

Only this wouldn't be who I love

Why I hold memories as a song

Use weakness from strong

No one knows everything to know

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light

The Beatles Were Good To Me

The Beatles were good to me
Oh to live for those days before 69 began

To listen for the way thanks goes around
John had a sweet heart of warmth
Laughed at anything he heard
George is missing but still another gift
Ringo had his moments in my life
But the best of my love came from Paul

The Beatles were good to me
Oh to live for those days before 69 began

NYC streets welcomed me with friends
I will never leave behind or I go nowhere
Until they catch up to my need again
Or I catch up to theirs
Then I grew through many others one home
Into LA to start anew
But the years followed to watch after my steps
Should I give the love I found so easy
For that love was the meaning to tonight

The Beatles were good to me
Oh to live for those days before 69 began

Meetings in the strangest places
When girls were screaming I was inside
Asked who am I to be so close to you
Well I can only remember I was lucky that's all
I can only remember you wanted me to know
Dreams do remain on the past
Don't send myself into loneliness without you

The Beatles were good to me
Oh for those days to live before 69 began

let me feel them now
let me feel them now
let me feel them now

The Beatles were good to me
Oh for those days to live before 69 began
