If Anselmo Vitale (Rocco's father) and Anthony Vitale (Anna and Dominick's father) are brothers, then Rocco Vitale and Dominick/Anna Vitale are first cousins. The children of siblings are first cousins.  Subsequent generations directly descended from these grandparent are: your father -  first cousin once removed; you/siblings - first cousin twice removed; your children - first cousin three times removed. Anselmo and Anthony may have been cousins, but I think from the info provided they were cousins.

Vitalie was a name change in america (original name Vitale), I never met my grandfather. A genealogist found his obituary. I was able to finally talk to the cemetary reception. Joy took a picture for me. Pete the superintendent was very helpful.

Sister Mrs. Angelo Gregoria (first known spelling gregorio) death certificate as Anna Gregoria, maiden name (Anna, Annie, (possibly Mary, Angelelina Sophia) Vitale from Salerno, Italy.  born February 28, 1878, death April 14, 1954. arrived in 1907, ship Konigin Luise

1910 census Gregora spelling my grandfather's sister

Charley Gregora HeadM30 Italy
Anna Gregora WifeF30 Italy

Anna Vitale, daughter of Tony and Angeline (Sofia) Vitale. According to the 1930 census, she married Angelo Gregoria circa 1906 (in 1930 they had been married 24 years), almost certainly in Italy.
(According to that census, Angelo had immigrated to the U.S. in 1903 and Anna in 1907. One could deduce that Angelo found a home here and went back to Italy to marry Anna and bring her to America.)

Anna Vitale was born in Italy on 24 Feb 1878 and died at Vincent Pallotti Hospital, Morgantown, WV on 14 Apr 1954. She is buried in Beverly Hills Memorial Garden near Morgantown.

Angelo Gregoria, son of Pasquale and Rose (Sophia) Gregoria, was born in Saleano, Italy on 05 Dec 1878. He died at Vincent Pallotti Hospital on 25 May 1962 and is buried in East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown. (Noting the maiden names of their mothers, it is possible that Angelo and Anna were cousins.) I was able to locate Angelo and Anna in the 1920, 1930 and 1940 censuses, as follows:

1920 Census of Sturgis (present-day Sabraton, now a part of Morgantown), Monongalia Co., WV

Joseph Pasquale Vitale my father

Scan0001_150x150_p1.jpg

The house I lived in when I was a child. The porch is a bit different and the walkway. There weren't awnings. This was real country territory back then. There were a lot of trees around, grape vines and more greenery. This house was sold when my dad died in 1976. Thanks to my grandfather for this house. He owned the land behind our house and beside our house all sold when my grandfather died. My grandfather loved to work in the garden and other work related issues for money. My grandfather imigrated from Italy and died before I was born. I never met him. I never met my grandmother either. The  land far back behind this house was owned by the local doctor. Dr Bondi would come to our house when we were sick. We use to play in his yard when we were children. He seemed to have hundreds of acres.

Christina Anne Bowser Vitale grandmother's grave compliments of Fran Kenney.

A speech by Fran regarding my grandmother.

Christina A. Vitale, born December 8, 1892, died August 24, 1925, was the grandmother of Elizabeth Vitale, who now lives in California.  Because of the renovation, I was able to locate Christina’s grave and send pictures to Elizabeth.

Elizabeth wrote me in emails,  “I heard about the restoration and how many hospitals closed. It is amazing she is in one (which) was still open and the cemetery restored.”

“How lucky is this to have 26 hospitals, 20 close, 6 remain and my grandmother has a tombstone from renovation. Thank everyone for me.”

Though there are unanswered questions about her grandmother’s life, her time in our facility, and why she died at such a young age, 33 years old, her grandmother has been honored like all of these other 900+ graves.  I was proud to place flowers on Christina’s grave, and to tell her they were from her granddaughter, Elizabeth.

Making Rain

Making rain this is all I know
Trying to find understanding's road
Making rain paying with my heart
Once protected by you

Making rain in my sleep
Win this world one time
Making rain I never said goodbye
How time plays with my eyes

Making rain is my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

I speak to no one though I try
Holding reason alive for a song
Just to carry feelings along
I'll follow you after the sun

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Making rain is my life

Making rain it's my life

Only One Light

On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light
Only one light
To see my way
Only one light
To shine on me
Only one light
I can't understand
I can't hear why
Only one light
On a broken old chair
In a dirty old room
With only one light

DEMONCRATS WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP EVIL ALIVE

NO CARE TO LIFE, LOVE AND LIBERTY, AMERICAN PROSPERITY AND RIGHT TO KEEP AMERICAN HERITAGE ALIVE.

They are truly a demon network of an evil display without even care for their own family and friends. Demoncrats will turn on anything in their path with pleasure to cheat, lie, steal and affix their pain on others. How we as Americans let those evil scum even exist amazes me. In the old days our political fathers would have wiped them off the face of the map. Those Demoncrats will act and speak in any manner they please to destroy America. I sure hope Mr. President has an alternate plan so they are put to silence against our Constitution and Nation. The military needs to finally take over America and put the Demoncrats in their place below America, remove the illegals in political positions and send those Demoncrats to prison for treason. Demoncrats fix elections and tell whopping lies with a smile on their faces. ANYONE WHO SUPPORTS A DEMONCRAT IS A DEMONCRAT DEMONIC RAT. Now now Demoncrats we all have rights to freedom of speech.
